We had a perfect spring day for this yearís "Bring out your Oldest Bike ride", hence the 41 bikes that turned up, including ten girder fork and two veteran bikes.
The ride through the Chittering Valley was green and flowing. In fact one person commented to me that you normally only see such green countryside like that in the UK, I told him to have another look in a couple of months.
We had one short hold up on the road due to the Chittering Festival,
were they had a couple of lolly-pop people stopping the traffic for
Andrew came up from Albany on his trusty 250cc BMW and with Wendy on the back. They set off on the ride, only to have an electrical fault that put the bike on the backup trailer. It was later sorted out in my shed so he could ride back to Albany on Monday... are you there yet?
The only other mishap on the day was that some idiot rode his sisterís 1928 BSA sidecar from Bindoon back to Bullsbrook with the keys to the backup car in his pocket...
Thanks to Lee, Ann, Jaiden, Stuart and Rachel for their help on the day.
