Chris and I had been on a three-week sidecar trip to the Pilbara, but we timed it so as we would meet up with the Club members who were on the Corrigin Pub Ride.
When we arrived in Corrigin we decided to fill up first before going to the pub and coincidentally met most of the Albany mob as they rolled into town.
The pub’s very good, food was great, rooms the same and there was no complaints about the food. The company of course is always good and for a change the majority was from Albany with only John and Louise and Huw and Elina from Perth. Just over 30 altogether.
Next morning after a get your own breakfast we headed home, apart from Chester and buddies (read longer ride).
We were a bit slower in the sidecar, but you’re never that far behind. We met up with everyone at Lake Grace and then the Bluff Knoll Cafe.
Apparently Steve Collins was stung by a bee, got in his boot, he’s
allergic like a lot of us are, but made it home safely. Great weekend.
