After the previous afternoon’s wet weather, Sunday was looking good.
There was a good sized group leaving Albany and by the time we
arrived in Denmark, there were nearly 30 bikes. Among them were
a couple of visitors, including Nigel on his immaculate ZX1000
We then rode towards Walpole turning at Bow River for the
scenic route around Hazelvale Road which has nice smooth bends.
We then turned onto the North Walpole Road which also has plenty
of bends, but not smooth.
We rode through Walpole (where Harley wanted to give Jo a present that she refused) to the Coalmine Beach Peninsula where we had lunch at the well-maintained BBQ area.
After lunch we had a relaxing ride back to Albany. Great ride and company.
