The Squid Shack Ride
THE weather couldn’t have been better for the end of May and we had a
huge turn-out. After riding to Narrikup for morning tea we returned to
Albany via Settlement Road to Emu Point.
Most carried onto the Squid Shack for
lunch, I didn’t realise how popular this place was, we had rung with
numbers but there was still a half hour wait for your meal during which
of course we sat round talked and socialised.
When the squid and chips arrived they went down very well. Thanks to
Ray and Judy for going back-up, and as they arrived late, had to wait
the longest - I could hear a bit of a rumble every now and again,
thought it was a bike, but I think it was their stomachs!
