A recent Club ride involved crossing a flooded creek on the South Formby Road on the way to Gnowangerup from the Stirlings.Nobody fell off in the creek even though the water was flowing at a fair rate, but Andrew suffered from wet points as the rubber that isolates the points inside the timing cover was missing. The bike stalled as he was crossing the creek but was able to keep going with the starter motor turning the engine over and so not sucking any water in.
After lunch in Kojonup, the ride continued on down the Kojonup Frankland Road, and then onto Narrikup. The riders arriving home at around 5pm - the comments that I received were, it was a long
day but what a great ride.
